Here comes our knitwear designer...

Cable is the creation of 23 year-old Gemma Simmons. Inspired by urban style and "tough" materials but with the traditional art of knitwear at its heart, this "two texture" collection is the result of many years perfecting knitting techniques and nurturing a passion to create a line of wearable pieces that give wool an edge. With fashion internships at Sunday Times Style magazine and stylist credits under her belt, Gemma works as a centre manager whilst also focusing on her designs and desire to introduce a new style of knitwear.

Pure London

The Goat Girl Events team attended Pure London yesterday held at Earls Court.
What a fabulous change, designers has come in from all over but we were taken in by Brazilian and Dubai collections -

The catwalk however less impressive the WGSN featured models in this seasons look which will again be rugged over loaded casual wear for the day which they called eclectic folksy but the look was mixed with digital print jumpsuit-not pretty

However loving all the Chunky knit wear and fake fur looks they encouraged for winter.

We have a chunky knit wear designer exhibiting at Obscure Prowess, The line is called Cable and it will definitely be one to keep an eye on in 2011.
